为了初步了解所授非英语专业本科新生的英语语言综合运用能力,从而更好地组织《大学英语读写》课程的课堂教学,笔者在期初向会计和环设两个专业4个班共180名学生布置了书面表达任务,要求学生就如何改善师生关系写一篇120字左右的英语作文。学生提交作文后,笔者进行了认真的批改,发现学生习作中以下几种句法错误比较普遍。
1. 句法错误的类型
1.1 逐字翻译
有部分同学在英语表达时受汉语思维影响严重,完全是根据汉语的语序进行逐字翻译。
例1:Teacher and student have a good relationship can help teacher teach well.(老师和学生有好的关系可以帮助老师教好学。)
例2:Don’t do some let teacher unhappy’s thing. (不要做一些让老师不高兴的事。)
例3:Teacher love student and student love teacher is very important. (老师爱学生学生也爱老师是非常重要的。)
例4:The teacher teaches us courses make us have a bright future. (老师给我们授课让我们拥有光明的未来。)
1.2 缺少成分
有很多同学在写句子时出现了缺少主要成分的现象,包括主语、谓语、主句等的缺失。
例1:When talks about how to get along well with teachers, I have some advice. (when从句中缺少主语)
例2: They could help me when I need help or unhappy. (unhappy 前面缺少主谓)
例3:I think if you have a good teacher-student relationship, which will be good for your study. (缺少主句)
